Table of Contents
Mizuno Wave Exceed Tour 4
Lightweight, Stability and Upper
Are you looking for a narrow lightweight and stable tennis shoe? If you are then you want to check out the Mizuno Wave Exceed Tour 4. This shoe is going to keep your feet stable and help you maintain your speed on the court.
Next is the upper. It is made of 3D solid upper which is going to encase your foot in breathable comfort.
The highly breathable fabric allows cool air to circulate, removing uncomfortable heat to build-up and humidity to maintain a cool, regulated temperature that your feet can thrive in.
Outsole
The outsole of the shoe is well-built for all-court surfaces and it’s going to give you grippy traction on the court. Also, the outsole is very durable and would help maintain your balance on the court.
Midsole
The midsole is also well constructed. It is made of a D-Flex Groove which would allow you to turn at maximum speed and power by efficiently transferring your natural body movement and shift in direction.
Fit and Colour Options
This is going to fit your narrow feet perfectly and keep you stable on the court. You are going to really enjoy wearing it and the great thing is it comes in a variety of colours to choose from. If you like the features of this shoe then make sure to read the full review.
Nike Air Zoom Vapor X Knit
Upper
The second narrow feet tennis shoe I have for you is the Air Zoom Vapor X Knit. This shoe is described by Nike as ‘taking breathability to the next level’ and you wouldn’t be disappointed either.
The upper of the shoe is made of a combination of supportive knit and synthetic material.
This is going to provide you with excellent breathability on the court. This means sweat and moisture can easily exit the shoe with the constant fresh air coming into the shoe.
Design
The design of the shoe is one of the best on the market. It’s very attractive, bright and colourful. Having such a colourful shoe on the court is one way to boost your confidence and self-esteem.
Fit
The knit is going to fit your narrow foot perfectly on the court. The structure of the shoe and the lacing system is going to keep your feet lock-in and stable at the same time. This is by far the best shoe for narrow feet when you compare it to the standard vapor.
Outsole
Lastly, is the outsole. The outsole is designed with rubber which is going to give you good traction and grip on the court although it’s not the best on the market. If you like this shoe make sure to read the full review.
Yonex PC Fusion Rev 3
Stability
One of the key strengths of this shoe is stability and contact. This shoe is known for providing optimal court contact with innovative technology for support during quick directional changes.
In addition, by adding a special elastic resin to power cushion, while maintaining the conventional lightweight properties, high shock absorption is realized. This makes it perfect when playing on hard-courts.
Lacing System and Heel Section
The lacing system may look out of shape when you look at it, however, it does a great job at keeping your feet stable and secure. Again if you have a narrow foot you would definitely enjoy wearing it.
A rounded heel design provides a smoother heel contact and transition from heel to toe. This keeps your heels and ankles well-cushioned and comfortable. Also, a larger more rounded contact area for a smoother landing.
Outsole
The outsole is made of rubber and surprisingly it turns out to be durable than most people expected. If you play long and intense matches then you would love this shoe. It can deal with the toughness and traction of the court.
Moreover, the traction of the shoe is excellent. It’s going to give you a solid grip on the court and keep you stable throughout the match.
Weight
With a size of 10.5 and 13.1 ounces, this tennis shoe is in the lightweight category. It’s more lightweight than the previous versions and the low-to-the-ground profile and snug fit made it for speed. If you are a player that likes to play at a quick pace then you would surely enjoy this shoe.
Nike Zoom GP Turbo
Tongue and Comfort
If you didn’t like the Air Zoom Zero tongue structure then you would enjoy the Zoom GP Turbo.
This shoe has a more traditional-looking tongue which is going to provide you with a nice pudding and smooth feel when you wear it. This makes it perfect for all foot size, especially narrow foot.
This is one of the most comfortable tennis shoes you would ever wear. The full-length Zoom air unit is going to provide you with excellent comfort and great responsiveness feel.
Outsole
Featuring an innovate outsole, this shoe is going to provide you with good durability on the court and nice traction.
If you are a player that plays for more than 10 hours, then you wouldn’t have any issue with this shoe.
Fit
In terms of fit, when you wear the shoe for the first time it’s going to provide you with a glove-like fit. This is beneficial and at the same time comes with a downside.
The downside to the fit is you may have to try different sizes to find your fit because choosing the wrong size could make your feet very tight.
However, the benefit of the glove-like fit is how it’s going to provide you with good comfort, stability and nice cushioning. Moreover, it makes it suitable for players with narrow feet then wide.
Weight
With a weight of 16.2 ounces for the men (size 10.5) and 13.5 ounces for the women (size 8.5), it may not be the best lightweight shoe on the market.
But it still does a great job at supporting you to move quickly and smoothly on the court. Also, as you wear the shoes it starts to mould perfectly to the size of your foot. If you like this shoe make sure to read the full review.
Lotto Mirage 100 SPD
Upper
If you are a player that enjoys playing in an aggressive and speed game then you should check out the Lotto Mirage 100 SPD. It’s going to help you maximize your speed and at the same time keep you stable.
In addition, the new multi-layer kurim upper enhances the stability of this shoe without putting too much pressure on your feet. Also, you are going to have nice breathability which is awesome when playing long and intense matches.
Insole
Unlike many tennis shoes that have one insole, this shoe comes with two different insoles. One of them is more ticker and gives you a nice comfortable and cushion feel.
Whiles the other gives you a smooth feel. This is a great option to have so feel free to try each one of them and see which one suits you the most.
Outsole
Despite how lightweight this shoe is, the durability of the shoe is awesome. You are going to enjoy using the outsole because it can cope with all the tough conditions on the court.
Furthermore, the outsole feels more grippy when it comes to traction. I think it would keep you stable on the court.
Weight
As I said earlier, this shoe is on the lightweight category. With a size of 10.5 and at a weight of 12.6 ounces, it feels very light which can be an advantage during the game. This helps you to be very quick on the court and at the same time maintain stability throughout.
Asics Solution Speed FF
Upper
Asics continues to take tennis shoes to the next level and the Solution Speed FF did not fail to disappoint either.
The upper which is made of seamless PU is going to help you prevent unwanted twisting and slippage when making sharp cuts and turns during rallies.
Outsole
The outsole may not be the best durable shoe on the market but it does a great job at giving you traction on the court.
Moreover, the nice traction which translated into seamless stops starts and slides on the court.
Lacing System
One of the drawbacks of this shoe is the lacing system. The laces are very thin which requires more effort to tight them and they do put a lot of pressure on the top of the foot.
Weight
This shoe is one of the lightweight tennis shoes you would have on the market. With a size of 10.5 and 12.3 ounces you are going to enjoy the weight of the shoe and how it allows you to move quickly on the court. If you like this shoe make sure to read the full review.
Babolat Jet Mach II
Design
In terms of design and colour options for this shoe, I don’t think it’s the best on the market. When you compared them to other shoes such as New Balance Fresh Foam Lav or Nike Air Zoom Vapor X Kyrie 5.
Upper
There wasn’t much improvement in the upper area from the last version. It’s still made up of mesh material.
This is fantastic because it helps give your feet a glove-like fit while staying supple enough for easy movement.
With that said, it is recommended that you go a half size so that your feet stay comfortable throughout the match.
Outsole
The outsole is made of rubber and to be honest, it’s not that great in terms of durability. If you play long matches then this shoe is not the ideal one for you.
The interesting thing is the outsole does a great job at giving you traction and stability on the court.
Weight and Size
With a size of 11.7 ounces. This shoe is a super lightweight shoe that you are going to enjoy wearing. It would help you with your speed, movement and quick turns on the court.
The size, however, can be very tricky to find your perfect fit. It’s better to try different sizes to see which one suits you more.
Although, the shoe is ideal for players who have very narrow and small feet. If you like this shoe make sure to check out the 5 all-time best Babolat tennis shoes.
NikeCourt Tech Challenge 20
Design
The design and how this shoe is constructed is nicely done. The combinations of colours used are amazing and very attractive.
Midsole
Next up is the midsole. The midsole is the usual foam from Nike which is going to provide you with nice cushioning. The back of the midsole has visible Air or Max Air.
Again this is going to give you more cushioning and comfort over time. However, the visible air makes the shoe a little bit heavy when you put it on.
Weight and Size
Coming at a size of 10.5 and a weight of 16 ounces. I wouldn’t class this shoe as lightweight because of how the midsole adds a lot of weight to the shoe.
In terms of size, this shoe comes in all different sizes and it’s true to size and length. If you find this shoe to suit your game then make sure to read the full review.
NikeCourt Air Max Volley
Design
The last beginner tennis shoe I have for you is the Nike Court Air Max Volley. This shoe was recently released by Nike. This shoe is constructed similar to the Nike Air Zoom GP Turbo.
You can even tell by the design and the colour options. Both shoes have a mixture of colours which makes them colourful and attractive.
Insole
One of the key strengths of this shoe is the insole. The insole is well constructed with a nice weave pattern which is very good at keeping your fit stable and supportive.
This is great because when you are playing rallies and sliding on the court, you are going to have stable feet throughout. Also, the insole is going to help you decrease friction which means you are going to sweat and heatless.
Outsole
Now let’s take a closure look at the outsole. The outsole is made of one piece stamped weave pattern. It’s such an interesting design by Nike because there are no pivot points and sliding channels.
This means they are not going to be the best stable shoes on the market. If you like the features of the NikeCourt Air Max Volley make sure to read the full review.
Adidas Ubersonic 4
Design
Oh boy, oh boy, the design of this shoe looks amazing and attractive. The awesome design of this shoe reminds me of the Air Zoom Vapor X Kyrie 5. Although it may not have the same colour design both appearances look unbelievable amazing.
Upper
The upper is made of seamless Primeknit sock-like construction. This material is going to provide you with nice flexibility and comfort when moving around the court.
On top of that, the use of the second layer of woven Primegreen material is used to provide you with good stability when making quick turns and stops.
Tongue
The tongue is very thin even more than the Ubersonic 2. I would say the tongue is closer to the 3s. Moreover, the tongue is attached to the shoe which is going to give you a snack fit when you put your feet inside.
Insole
The shoe comes with a removable insole which is great because you can take it out to dry when you wash it. Or replace it with a new one.
Also, the insole which has a padding feel is going to make your feet comfortable. The drawback with the insole is how it’s likely to wear out quickly because of the spongy foam around it. If you like this shoe make sure to read the full review.
