Are you a tennis player looking for a tennis shoe that you can wear the whole day? Either you are going to the practice court, gym, or having a walk. If the answer is ‘yes’ then you have arrived at the perfect place.

In this post, I’m going to present you with some of the best tennis shoes that you can wear the whole day without getting discomfort in them. The shoes that are listed below are extremely comfortable to wear and some are lightweight.

Enough of me talking too much and let’s dive right into it. Let’s start off with number one at the top of the list.

New Balance 996v4

The New Balance 996v4 is one of the most comfortable tennis shoes you would ever come across on the market. It’s so comfortable that you can wear it all day without experiencing any sort of discomfort. I have to say it’s also great for tennis coaches who are on the court all day.

Upper

The upper of the shoe is made of flexible hypo-knit. New Balance decided to use this type of material to provide you with lightweight breathability. This is going to keep your feet fresh throughout your practices and matches.

On top of that, since the ventilation is excellent, you are assured that your feet are going to get fresh air during long and intense matches.

However, it’s not going to be the most durable upper on the market. If you want a durable upper then you would want to check out other shoes such as the Asics Court FF2.

Midsole and Insole

The midsole is made of a full-length fuel cell for a soft cushion and propulsion for each stride. This is going to provide you with nice cushioning and comfort as you play on the court.

Like the midsole, the insole is nicely built to add more cushioning to your feet as you play on the court. Although it would be great if New Balance can improve the stability of this shoe.

Outsole

The outsole is made of NDurance rubber. This is going to provide you with great durability on the court. You may play for long hours and not see much difference with the outsole.

Next is the traction. The multi-directional tread pattern is going to provide you with great traction on all court surfaces. Moreover, you would be able to slide comfortably and still maintain your balance. If you like this shoe then make sure to read the full review.

Asics Gel-Resolution 8

Another shoe to make it onto the list is the Gel-Resolution 8. Not only does this shoe has excellent comfort but has got awesome features across the board. This shoe is great for all types of players and it’s really popular on the market.

Upper

The upper is made of full-length Flexion Fit Polyurethane which is going to improve protection. The use of no-sew PU construction helps to defend your feet (and shoes) through powerful lateral movements, without adding weight or compromising flexibility.

Asics Gel Resolution 8

This is a fantastic feature to have because it allows you to slide smoothly and comfortably on the court without putting too much pressure on your feet.

In addition, the use of mesh material is going to provide you with good breathability.

This is because it allows fresh air to come inside the shoe and allows moisture to leave quickly. This way your feet stay fresh and comfortable throughout the match.

Midsole

The shoe comes with ortholite sockliner which lies atop of the midsole to provide you with an extra layer of plush and hygienic step-in comfort. This is great for your feet, especially on high-intensity days.

This is because the product is enriched with antimicrobial properties plus moisture management and a high level of breathability.

Moreover, SpEVA resides in the midsole to supply lightweight cushioning and comfort. This is a lot better than the usual EVA material. Next are the Rearfoot and Forefoot Gel Cushioning Systems which are embedded within the midsole area.

Outsole

It has a Trusstic System that is stretched out under the arch to increase stability and help with your movement on the court. Also, it reinforces the middle part of the sole, stopping it from twisting excessively and therefore diminishing the risk of the inward/outward rolling that might cause injury.

You would really enjoy wearing this shoe all day and it comes with a nice-looking design. If you want to know more about this shoe then make sure to read the full review.

Adidas Sole Court Boost

Another shoe you want to consider if you want a tennis shoe to wear all day is the Sole Court Boost. It’s also great for foot issues such as knee pain.

Upper

Adidas SoleCourt Tennis Shoe

The upper is designed in a lightweight format to allow you to move quickly and effectively on the court.

Moreover, the shoe is breathable which does well at allowing fresh air to enter the shoe whiles allowing moisture to leave.

Midsole

The midsole is made of boost material. The purpose of this is to provide you with nice cushioning as well as protecting the sole of the feet from shocks and heavy contacts.

An EVA material is included in the midsole to make it firm and strong. This helps to prevent bumps and shocks from reaching the sole of the foot.

Outsole

The SoleCourt Boost has a good tread pattern to provide you with excellent traction and durability on the court. If you like the SoleCourt Boost then make sure to read the full review.

Mizuno Wave Exceed Tour 4

Mizuno may be under the radar when we talk about brands that are good at making high-performing shoes. But I got to say some of their shoes have met a lot of player’s expectations.

Upper

It is made of a 3D solid upper which is going to provide you with a natural fit and excellent durability. This is awesome to hear from Mizuno because you are going to have a better fit compared to the last version.

In addition, if you are an aggressive mover or someone who slides on the court often then you would want to check this shoe out. You are not going to have any issue with the upper wearing out sooner or later.

Midsole

The midsole has Mizuno’s wave technology embedded in it to provide you with flexibility when moving around the court. Also, it’s going to provide you with good support as you move in all directions on the court.

Furthermore, the midsole technology does a great job at absorbing the shock of the heel striking without compromising the comfort or cushioning.

Also, once the shock has been absorbed the energy from that is harnessed and is then transferred to the forefoot to then push you off and guide you onto the next movement.

Outsole

This shoe comes with a durable rubber outsole which is going to provide you with excellent durability and grip control on the court. However, this shoe may not provide you with the best traction on a clay court surface.

However, the D-Flex Groove sits diagonally through the midfoot allowing you to turn at maximum speed and power by efficiently transferring your natural body movement and shift in direction. If you like this shoe, make sure to read the full review.

New Balance Fresh Foam Lav 2

The Fresh Foam Lav 2 recently came on the market and it’s doing really well just like the previous version. The comfort, stability, and weight of the shoe are excellent.

Upper

The upper is made with FitWeave which does a fantastic job at locking your foot down. This is great because it provides you with stability when moving and sliding on all court surfaces. Also, it reduces the chances of you getting any serious injury.

Also, the upper comes with a full bootie construction which does a good job at providing you with flexibility and excellent comfort.

Insole and Midsole

The Fresh Foam Lav 2 comes with a removable insole. This is great because you can replace the insole with your preferred choice. Also, the insole is going to provide you with good cushioning and comfort as you play in them.

The midsole comes with fresh foam 10 which makes the midsole bigger than the usual size. The purpose of this is to provide you with an extra cushion in the heel area.

Also, the use of smaller hexes in the forefoot area does well to provide you with stability and a blend of comfort and responsiveness.

Outsole

It comes with NDurance rubber which is going to provide you with good durability compared with the previous version. This is great because it would be able to deal with the tough conditions on the court and last you longer. Underneath the outsole has the New Balance logo which makes the shoe more stylish and stands out. If you like this shoe make sure to read the full review.

Babolat SFX3

After taking feedback and criticisms from the previous version. Babolat has made the SFX 3 a lot better and it’s geared towards players with a wide foot.

Upper

The upper of the shoe is made of grill mesh material. This is going to provide you with excellent breathability on the court. If you are someone who easily has moisture on their feet then you would enjoy wearing this shoe.

The moisture would easily leave the shoe and allow fresh air to come through the shoe. You would really enjoy playing it in very hot conditions and intense matches.

Babolat SFX3

Weight, Size and Fit

The weight of the shoe comes at 13.9 ounces with a size of 10.5. I would still classify this shoe as lightweight although it’s mainly built around comfort and durability.

It may look bulky like the K-Swiss Hypercourt Supreme but you are going to enjoy the lightweight of the shoe and it would help you with your speed on the court.

This shoe comes in all sorts of sizes to choose from which is a great option to have but it’s more suitable for players with a medium and wide foot.

In terms of fit, it’s true to length and size. And the great thing about it is that it does not require any break-in period. This is nice to have as a player because your feet can adjust to the shoe quickly and start playing your style of tennis.

Outsole

It is made with a Michelin rubber which you are going to enjoy wearing because it’s going to give you optimal traction and ground contact on all court surfaces. In addition, I would say the traction is on the sticky side which would provide you with more grip on the court. If you like this shoe make sure to read the full review.

K-Swiss Aero Knit

The last shoe I have on the list for you is the K-Swiss Aero Knit. It’s super comfortable to wear the whole day.

Upper

It is made of  Infi-KNIT 3D engineered knit upper which is going to provide you with excellent comfort. The upper is super comfortable to the point that I would say it’s one of the top 10 or even 5 best comfortable tennis shoes you would ever wear.

However, with all the praise about the upper been very comfortable, it’s not the best breathability shoe on the market.

Midsole

The midsole of the shoe is made of surge technology which is going to offer you good cushioning and energy return. However, the stability of the shoe is not the best on the market. You are not going to get the full support and stability when moving lethally on the court.

Outsole

As lightweight and comfortable as this shoe is, you are going to enjoy the durability of the sole. It is made of a durable high-density Aosta 7.0 rubber compound.

As the name suggests you are going to have excellent durability on the court. If you are someone who is very hard on their outsole then you would enjoy playing in this shoe. If you like this shoe then make sure to read the full review.

Wrapping Up!!

In conclusion, I hope you have found this post very useful in finding the best tennis shoes that you can wear for the whole day. I wish you the very best of luck with any of the shoes you decide to pick and wear.
