The Babolat Jet Mach III is now on the market and it’s a lot better compared to the previous version. Babolat took some of the feedback given by fans and players from the previous and implemented them in this version. This has made some players start falling in love with this iteration.

You are going to get a good toe box fit when you wear the shoe. This is great because you are not going to experience any extra space in the toe area to make you feel uncomfortable. Also, you are not going to be having any toe jagging when playing in this shoe.

Heel Counter and Ankle Support

Babolat has made the heel counter and ankle area a lot better compared to the Babolat Jet Mach II. The heel counter is going to hold your heel very well and give you a better fit. This would give you better stability and cushioning as you play your style of tennis.

In addition, the ankle area is going to provide you with good cushioning, comfort, and support. This helps you to play better and move well on the court.

Tongue and Lacing System

There is nothing unusual with the tongue and lacing system compared to the Wilson Kaos Mirage which comes with a one-strap lacing system. This approach saves you time from tieing your laces all the time.

However, the Babolat Jet Mach III has a similar lacing system and tongue to the traditional tennis shoe. The tongue is well padded to provide you with comfort and cushioning when playing in them.

This puts less pressure on your arch and makes movement on the court more comfortable on your feet.

However, there is no leather hole on top of the tongue to help keep the tongue stable and prevent it from distracting you over the course of the match.

In terms of the lacing system, it doesn’t have metal eyelets as you would expect, but this unique style of lacing system would keep your feet stable and comfortable. Although, it can get tricky when lacing the shoe because of how thin the lacing holes can be.

And lastly, the lacing system has extra lacing holes for you to use. This is going to provide you with extra support and more grip on the shoe.

Weight

One trademark of the Jet Mach series is how lightweight the shoes are and the Jet Mach III is no different. It comes with a weight of 10.2 ounces with a size of 8.5. As you can tell by the numbers it’s going to be very lightweight which would improve your speed on the court and allow you to be a little aggressive in your game.

Insole and Midsole

The insole is nicely made to provide you with good comfort when you wear the shoe. This is great at keeping your feet stable and comfortable when playing intense rallies in the match. 

Babolat has made the midsole a little bigger and longer than the previous model.

The purpose of this is to use more of the KPRSX material to provide you with more cushioning as well as higher levels of support for more comfort underfoot.

Also, you are going to get better stability from this shoe and with the updated rocker at the bottom, you are going to experience a quicker transition from the heel to your toes.

This helps you to maintain your pace when turning around quickly or sliding.

Fit

The shape and size of the shoe make it suitable for players who have narrow to medium feet. If you have a wide foot then I wouldn’t recommend this shoe. Instead, it’s better if you try other shoes such as ON The Roger Advantage. It would give you a better fit than the Jet Mach III.

The Babolat Jet Mach III does not require any break-in period which is great because your feet can easily get used to it when you first wear it. Although, this shoe may have a snug fit you don’t have to go either half a size up or down.

Outsole

Now let’s take a closer look at the outsole. The outsole of the shoe is made of Babolat’s unique Michelin rubber. This is going to provide you with excellent traction on the court and help you to transition in and out during rallies.

Furthermore, you are going to get excellent durability from the outsole which is great because it can deal with the tough conditions on the court.

As nice and colourful as this shoe looks. They also come in a variety of colours to choose from. This is great because you can select a shoe that suits your tennis outfit.

Price

The last important point to discuss is the price of the shoe. The cost of the shoe is close to $150 which puts it on the high end of expensive tennis shoes. The cost may seem too much to afford but if you think about it, you are going to get excellent features that can allow you to perform well on the court.
